Guru Jambheshwar University, Moradabad, is a State (Public) University located in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Moradabad is also known as Peetal Nagri due to its prominent brass industry. The University is named after Guru Jambheshwar, the founder of the Bishnoi community, who is revered for his teachings on environmental and social responsibility. This University received the status of 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, on March 25, 2025.
